In these difficult times when physical distancing is of utmost importance, here at IDF, we strive to bring a little piece of Europe closer to home. We are committed to keeping our doors open to you and your family when you need it most by providing locally sourced and imported fresh fruits and vegetables as well as high-quality meats, cheeses, and other delicatessens from Bulgaria, Romania, Ukraine, Russia, Belorussia, Germany and beyond. Our takeaway food counter will continue to offer delicious hot and cold homestyle meals you have come to love. With all of this in mind, our top priority at this time is the health and safety of our wonderful employees and you, our valued patrons.
In times like these, we need to work together to keep each other safe. We will be limiting the number of visitors in the store at one time and we ask that you are mindful of physical distancing guidelines (keeping at least 2 metres away from others). Other things you can do to keep yourself safe is to avoid touching your eyes, nose and face if your hands have not been washed with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand rub. In addition, be sure to practice good respiratory hygiene by sneezing or coughing into your bent elbow or a tissue (which you should immediately dispose of). Clean your phone and other mobile devices regularly. And not to forget – it is important to reach out to your friends and loved ones over the phone, video or social media for support. After all, we are all in this together!
For over two decades, IDF has been a weekly grocery destination for so many of you and it continues to be our pleasure to serve you even in uncertain times. When things feel far away, our thoughts can bring us together – from our hearts to yours, we wish all of you and your family health and safety.
